ABOUT ME & CONTACT
Abra Richardson is a photojournalist with experience in documentary, audio, broadcast, written and visual reporting.
Abra discovered her interest in photojournalism during the 2016 Presidential Election, a time when ‘fake news’ was a major topic of discussion in her classes. Soon being able to vote, she wanted to better understand current events and how they were being reported.
She recently earned a Bachelor of Arts in Photojournalism from Columbia College Chicago in May 2024 and is currently seeking professional opportunities.
I look forward to speaking with you!

Oh, you’re still here? Here are some extra things about Abra!
Outside of photojournalism, she’s passionate about figure skating—despite not being very good at it—and still enjoys public skates and following major competitions. She also likes to run and be outdoors as much as possible. A big fan of shows like The White Lotus and Severance, she gets invested in theorizing and predicting plot twists.
She also loves Jack White and has seen him perform seven times.
